Raya Kern is a Licensed Medical Esthetician and Professional Laser Technician at Viva Day Spa + Med Spa. She provides laser hair removal and advanced aesthetic treatments at our north Austin med spa location, Viva Day Spa + Med Spa Domain Northside.
A California native, Raya earned her Associates Degree in Math & Science at Ventura College. She struggled with cystic acne growing up, but was able to heal it without using Accutane. Her skin care journey ignited a passion for helping others feel more comfortable in their own skin and enhance their natural beauty. In 2019, Raya moved to Austin to formally study aesthetics at Ann Webb Skin Institute. She is a Licensed Aesthetician in Texas. She further advanced her training by earning a Professional Laser Technician certification from Texas Lasers and Aesthetics.
Raya became part of Viva’s medical spa team in 2020. Since joining, she’s also received advanced device training for Microneedling, RF Microneedling, Chemical Peels, HydraFacial, Dermaplaning, IPL Photofacial, and Body Contouring.
When she’s not helping patients feel beautiful inside and out, you’ll find Raya hiking, painting, and trying new recipes with her husband. She also loves spending time with friends and family, including her pudelpointer, Odyssey.
