Licensed Massage Therapist Jobs

Excellent massage therapy is the perfect combination of technical skill and people skills. That’s why Viva Day Spa + Med Spa exclusively hires talented body workers who also understand the nuances of delivering an excellent massage experience. We prefer candidates who possess 1+ year of work experience in a spa or massage environment, preferably with an emphasis on luxury and warm, friendly customer service.

We’re looking for massage therapists who have strong technical chops, hands-on experience, and are a good fit for Viva’s culture of caring.

• A welcoming, calm and nurturing demeanor
• A responsible wellness-oriented team player, with a strong work ethic
• An amazing massage therapist with a passion for caring for others
• Minimum of 6 months of professional experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, and stand for extended periods, and bend, squat, twist, etc.
• Valid State of Texas Licensed Massage Therapy (LMT) license

Award-winning Viva Day Spa + Med Spa opened its first location in Austin, Texas in June 2005. Viva was founded by three women — Laurie Aroch, Shannon Mouser, and Maya Aroch — with the belief that a premier day spa should provide the finest quality services in an environment that is inviting, relaxing and, above all, unpretentious.

Today, Viva Day Spa + Med Spa has three thriving locations in Austin with 80 massage therapists on staff. We’ll be opening our fourth location in Round Rock, Texas in late summer 2023.

• Commission based salary: $50-60 per hour on average
