Maelyn Gin, MSPAS, PA-C is a board certified Aesthetic Physician Assistant at Viva Day Spa + Med Spa. She provides cosmetic injectable services and other aesthetic treatments at our south Austin med spa location, Viva Day Spa | Lamar.
Maelyn obtained her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 2016. She is licensed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Texas Medical Board. Maelyn also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of North Texas and is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA).
Maelyn began her PA career in Burn and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Emergency Medicine, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience. She later discovered her passion for aesthetics, drawn to the unique blend of science and artistry it offers. Maelyn is dedicated to prioritizing safety and delivering natural-looking results. She joined Viva’s medical team in April 2026 as an Aesthetic Physician Assistant, specializing in cosmetic injectables and anti-aging treatments.
When she’s not taking care of Viva’s med spa patients, you’ll find Maelyn spending time with her family and German Shepherd, Bear, planning her next trip, staying active with Pilates and paddleboarding, enjoying live music concerts, and playing mahjong.
