Mandy Ward, FNP-BC, is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at Viva Day Spa + Med Spa in Dallas. With more than two decades of nursing experience across critical care, travel nursing, and aesthetics, Mandy brings a blend of medical expertise and artistry to every patient she treats.
Mandy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2000 and began her career in Trauma ICU in Atlanta. She went on to work as a travel nurse in Hawaii and California, then as a nurse consultant in medical sales before returning to bedside care in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
In 2018, Mandy discovered her calling in aesthetics while practicing in Seattle, where she joined a growing clinic with a stellar reputation in the Pacific Northwest. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2025 and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Viva’s first med spa staff hire in Dallas, Mandy joined the medical team in September 2025 as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner & Injection Specialist. Under the supervision of board-certified plastic surgeon and Dallas medical director, Dr. Joseph Kelling, she provides a wide range of aesthetic services, including cosmetic injectables, laser treatments, and other advanced med spa services. Mandy is also an active member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses. Patients value her ability to deliver customized, natural-looking results with precision and care.
When she’s not at the med spa, you’ll find Mandy with her husband of 17 years and their much-loved Maltese-Yorkie mix, Roxie, cheering on their two teenagers at volleyball, cheer, and football. The Wards are a foodie family at heart and love trying out new Dallas restaurants. When their busy schedules allow, they also love to travel every chance they get, introducing their kids to all their favorite places in the U.S. and abroad.
