Alright, settle in, because something genuinely delightful is happening: Viva Day Spa + Med Spa is officially celebrating our 20th anniversary! Yes, you read that right. Two decades of helping our guests look and feel their very best. That’s a lot of muscle-melting massages, glow-inducing facials, and more than a few wrinkle relaxing aesthetic treatments. It feels like just yesterday when we’re setting up shop, full of big dreams.

Now, here we are, marking this major milestone  — our 20th Anniversary— with you. It’s been an incredible journey, and we’re so  excited to celebrate with the very people who made it all possible: you, Austin!

Our Story: From Tiny Bungalow to Austin’s Favorite Spa

Viva’s story began simply back in 2005, when our founders — sisters Maya and Laurie Aroch, and their best friend Shannon Mouser — decided that Austin deserved a spa that felt both luxurious and wonderfully welcoming. No stuffiness, just genuine care and top-notch service. They started small with a cozy bungalow on 35th Street,  a small team of eight dedicated team members, and a commitment to making every guest feel truly special.

Fast forward through years of perfecting our craft and Viva has grown right alongside this amazing city. We expanded, opening our South Lamar location in 2008, and then in 2016, unveiled our flagship location at the Domain Northside. This was the big moment we brought together our beloved spa services and and cutting-edge med spa treatments under one roof. It made Viva Day Spa + Med Spa the easy choice in Austin for that perfect blend of approachable luxury and results-driven care. And two years ago, in 2023, we ventured beyond Travis County, opening the doors to our fourth location in Round Rock, eager to share the Viva magic with even more wonderful people.

Our team, now over 200 strong, continues to be the heart and soul of Viva. It turns out, when you genuinely love what you do, and you do it well, people tend to stick around. And for that, we couldn’t be more grateful.
