A Hydrafacial is a non-invasive, facial treatment that deep cleans and rejuvenates your skin in 30 minutes. The result? Glowing, more nourished skin.

The word “hydra” reflects the use of water to cleanse, hydrate and exfoliate. Often referred to as hydradermabrasion (a gentler alternative to microdermabrasion), this treatment uses a three step treatment process with a vacuum wand for cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, hydration, and antioxidant protection. It also infuses your skin with  moisturizing serums. Performed by an esthetician, this professional procedure is customized to your skin type. The Glow & Go Hydrafacial is an invigorating multi-step skin treatment that removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating, and moisturizing serums.

Pregnancy: Viva does not perform Hydrafacials on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. The Organic Blueberry Detox Firming Peel or Organic Mangosteen Surface & Pore-Refining Peel are fabulous alternatives for glowing mom skin.

Infection: To ensure safe, effective results, please postpone your skincare appointment if you are experiencing any active infections such as cold sores, pink eye, styes, or shingles, or if you have visible symptoms of HPV on the face. Our estheticians can only provide treatment once all symptoms have fully resolved.

Medications: For guests receiving chemical peels during the “Peel” step of a Hydrafacial, please discontinue use of Accutane 12 months prior to treatment and Retin A, Avage, Tazorac, Differin, or any other medication that may compromise the skin  7 days prior to treatment.

Other: Hydrafacial cannot be performed on people who have cancer or severe cystic acne or who have recently had waxing, sugaring, laser treatments, plastic surgery, or sunburn.

What Are the Steps in a Hydrafacial Treatment?

Hydrafacial utilize patented technology to exfoliate, peel, extract, and hydrate. The procedure is soothing, hydrating, non-invasive, and non-irritating.

  • Cleanse + Exfoliate: Uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing. The treatment uses water to release dead skin cells instead of the microcrystals or other abrasives of traditional microdermabrasion.
  • Peel: A blend of glycolic and salicylic acids is applied to your skin; a gentler chemical peel solution with all the benefits of a traditional peel.
  • Extract + Hydrate:  Remove debris from pores with painless suction. Nourish with intense moisturizers that quench the skin.
  • Fuse + Protect: Saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximize your glow.

Can You Do a Hydrafacial While Pregnant?

No, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot receive a Hydrafacial treatment. Pregnancy and nursing are contraindications for these treatments due to the chemicals used in some of the solutions. An Organic Custom Facial is a great option if you’re pregnant!
