Natural Body Spa, one of Atlanta’s most beloved spa brands for 37 years, is officially becoming Viva Day Spa + Med Spa. We’re thrilled to bring the Viva experience to Georgia, and especially honored to carry forward the legacy of a business that has meant so much to its guests and community. Our first Viva Atlanta location will be in Atlanta’s historic Morningside/Lenox Park neighborhood, at the corner of North Highland Avenue NE and University Drive.
A Legacy Worth Building On
When Natural Body founder Cici Coffee began looking for the right people to carry forward the business she’d built over 37 years, she set her sights on Viva. She saw the same dedication to exceptional care, talented people and personal relationships that had shaped Natural Body. So she reached out to Viva’s founders in Austin — sisters Maya and Laurie Aroch and their best friend, Shannon Mouser.
Cici opened the first Natural Body spa in Atlanta’s Morningside neighborhood in 1989. Over nearly four decades, she built Natural Body into one of Atlanta’s most recognized spa brands, with generations of guests returning for their favorite treatments and trusted providers.
“Natural Body has always been about taking care of people — our guests, our teams, and our neighbors,” said Cici Coffee, founder of Natural Body Spa + Med Spa. “When I started thinking about retirement, I was looking for the right steward. Maya, Laurie, and Shannon have built a company and a culture with the same commitment to exceptional care and long-term relationships. I’m handing the torch to women who will honor what we’ve built while bringing fresh energy, ideas, and investment to Natural Body’s next chapter.”
And here’s a full-circle moment. Before moving to Austin to start Viva, Maya spent several years working in Atlanta. And where did she go for massages? Natural Body’s original Morningside location, of course.

Since opening our first spa in Austin in 2005, Viva has grown into an award-winning spa and med spa brand with five locations across Texas. Bringing the Viva experience to Atlanta is an exciting milestone, made even more meaningful by the opportunity to build on Natural Body’s remarkable 37-year legacy.

Morningside, Viva’s First Atlanta Home
It all started at Morningside for Natural Body in 1989, and it’s where the Viva experience will make its Atlanta debut in January 2027.
We’re redesigning this beloved neighborhood spa, with refreshed treatment rooms, a new relaxation lounge, an infrared sauna and Duet Rooms designed for couples and friends to enjoy treatments together. All the thoughtful details that make a visit to Viva feel like a little escape from the everyday. Located at North Highland Avenue NE and University Drive, our Morningside home is just minutes from Virginia-Highland, Ansley Park, and Midtown.
Morningside is just the beginning. Over time, more Natural Body locations across Atlanta will become Viva Day Spa + Med Spa, bringing the Viva experience to even more neighborhoods throughout the city.
