As the world’s largest independent dermatology company, they’re already well known for their line of fillers that deliver natural-looking results. But their latest release is also their most impressive lip filler to date.

Restylane Kysse — adorably pronounced “kiss” — is their brand-new FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler designed specifically for lip injections, both to add fullness and to smooth wrinkles above and around the mouth. In fact, experts are confident that Restylane Kysse is set to become the leading lip filler. Here’s why.

No one will be able to tell you’ve had fillers — unless you tell them yourself.

This star-power lip filler is specially formulated with smaller particles than other Restylane fillers, which balances its structure and flexibility. The hyaluronic acid is also bound to itself, which means it seamlessly fuses with each and every microscopic movement of your lips, mirroring your own movements as naturally as your own skin. A study from Galderma’s research team showed that a significantly reduced amount of Restylane Kysse was necessary to increase fullness of the lips when compared to other fillers: 1.82 mL vs. 2.24 mL, to be exact.

It’s the first FDA-approved lip filler to use XpresHAn Technology. 

Restylane Kysse takes the cake as the first hyaluronic acid lip filler that’s specifically designed for the lips using XpresHAn Technology, also known as Optimal Balance Technology. XpresHAn is a manufacturing process that helps regulate the degree of HA crosslinking. This creates a smooth gel that integrates into the skin for a softer and more natural expression of motion, rather than a firm or structured appearance.

The results are long-lasting.

Clinical studies show that Restylane Kysse lasts up to a year, which is considerably longer than the typical six- to nine-month lifespan of other HA fillers.
